The Abbie M. Copps Poetry Contest is a competition for University of Olivet students to submit a poetry piece of their choice. Named after Professor Abbie Copps, the contest began in 1963 in her honor. This contest is for current University of Olivet students only. Please use your @uolivet email for your submission.

Students may upload one poem of 50 lines or fewer. Any subject or style is accepted, so send us your favorite! Please make sure your name doesn't appear on the document itself.

A panel of judges from the university will select the top five to forward to our outside judge, David Greenspan. Prizes will be awarded at his performance on March 19th, at 7pm in Klock Commons.
